After ski tour (approx. 1,5-2 hrs)

This is a shorter tour of 1,5-2 hours – perfect for anyone who wants to ski during the day and then try their hand at snowmobiling before dinner. We ride towards Järpen, across Lake Helgesjön and continue to Fröå Gruva, and then back. Our knowledgeable guide will help you access some of the best lines for snowmobiling.

Evening safari/moonlight safari, 2,5-3 hours

This tour runs over Lake Helgesjön up to the shelter by Järptjärn. Deep into the wilderness and far away
from Åre’s light pollution, the chances of seeing Northern lights are optimal if the sky is clear. However,
there is no guarantee and we may have to settle to watch the moon and the stars instead. Together we
will make hamburgers over the open fire and drink freshly boiled coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Two people on a snowmobile, 1200 SEK per person. Single person on one snowmobile, 1,700 SEK per person.

This tour runs over Lake Helgesjön and Lake Hissjön, up towards Mt Åreskutan’s north side, to the
shelter by Blåsten, offering a gorgeous view over Lake Kallsjön and the villages Kall and Huså. On the
way back we stop at Fröå mine and its restaurant Bergstugan, where you may buy lunch or a snack. This
is one of Åre’s best places to get a homecooked meal and home baked treats.

Medium tour with outdoor lunch, 3 hours

This tour runs up towards Mt Åreskutan’s north side, to the shelter by Blåsten, offering a gorgeous view
over Lake Kallsjön and the villages Kall and Huså. On the way back we stop at our own shelter by
Järptjärn, where we get a campfire going. We make coffee, tea and hot chocolate, while also cooking
hamburgers over the open fire.
Two people on a snowmobile, 1200 SEK per person. Single person on one snowmobile,1700 SEK per person.
Children 8-12 years, 350 SEK per person.

Half day safari, 4 hours

(AM or PM. Minimum 3 snowmobiles.)
This tour runs over lakes Helgesjön and Hissjön, up towards Mt Åreskutan’s north side, to the shelter by

towards Ullådalen, before turning around. On the way back we stop at Gruvstugan in Huså, where you
may buy lunch or a snack.

Full day safari

This tour runs over lakes Helgesjön and Hissjön, up towards Blåsten on Mt Åreskutan’s north side,
offering a gorgeous view over Lake Kallsjön and the villages Kall and Huså. We keep going towards
Ullådalen, and if there is time, we travel across Lake Kallsjön and up to the renowned Mt. Suljätten. We
will stop for lunch at one of the many mountain lodges.
Two people on a snowmobile, 1600 SEK per person. Single person on one snowmobile, 2,300 SEK per
person, children 8-12 years 300 sek. Lunch are not included in the price.

Two-day safari example 1

(Minimum 5 snowmobiles)
Day 1: We ride to Vålådalen via Trillevallen and Hållfjället. After lunch, we proceed to Ljungdalen via
Vålåstugorna and the awe-inspiring Härjång mountains, with a view of Helags. We stay overnight at
Helags B&B where the sauna is warmed up and ready upon arrival.
Day 2: We travel towards Tåssåsen and Kroktjärnsvallen, an Sami heritage site via Falkvålstjärnarna and
Storåkläppen. We continue over the Anaris mountains range, down towards Vallbo via
Lunndörrsstugorna and Grönvallen, which is an old Sami dwelling. We stop here to have a look at the old
teepees and learn more about life here back in the day. Lunch is served at one of the restaurants in
Östra Vålådalen or Ottsjö. After lunch we continue to Åre via Trillevallen and Undersåker. We arrive at
an Åre hotel with a hot sauna, pool and relaxation facilities.
Starting at 7,000kr per person all inclusive, with one night at Helags B&B and one night at a hotel in Åre.

Two-day safari example 2

(Minimum 5 snowmobiles)
Day 1: We depart from Åre Continental Inn, Östersund airport or wherever you wish and after a full day
of snowmobiling we arrive in Hosjöbotten at camp “De Åtta Årstiderna”, hosted by Daniel Persson. He
has prepared the sauna and wooden hot tubs, followed by a three-course meal with local ingredients,
such as moose, reindeer or fish.
Day 2: Those who rise bright and early may start the day by fishing for char in one Jämtland’s finest
fishing waters. After breakfast, we get on our snowmobiles and spend the day riding back to where we
started or to an end destination of your choice. Please note, there is an extra transportation charge of
120kr/10km when choosing a different end destination.

Snowmobile transfer from the airport

(Minimum 5 snowmobiles)
We pick you up at the airport with snowmobiles and the clothing and equipment needed for the trip.
We will arrange for your luggage to be transported to your hotel.
Österund airport to Åre, 3,300kr per person. Price includes gas, lunch and transportation of your
luggage.

Snowmobile and fishing tour, full day

(Minimum 5 snowmobiles)
We depart from Åre Continental Inn and travel to our private hunting grounds in Aumåsen, where there
is plenty of Arctic char and trout. There is also a forest pond where you may fish for lavaret (1,5-2,5kg).
Two people on a snowmobile, 1850 SEK per person. Single person on one snowmobile, 2,600 SEK per
person. Lunch, coffee, snack and fishing equipment is included.
